How did you meet?
We met through mutual friends and could not stay away from each other, at every encounter we realised just how drawn to each other we were!
When did you know they were the one?
I knew from the moment that we got our little sausage dog together!
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?-
He is dark haired and handsome, very funny and quick witted and makes me feel like I’m the only girl in the room.
Who proposed and how?
Nik proposed!! We were at the Flinders Ranges in SA, at at a sunset lookout over the rolling hills and he got down on one knee nervous as anything (with the ring box facing the wrong way haha). It was such an amazing moment and we both teared up!
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
It was very difficult trying to find the dress for me, I tried on sooo many dresses and it wasn’t until I went back and tried on the Louie fitted with the sheer overskirt that I fell in love. I always knew I wanted a fitted dress, but I loved the whimsical touch that came with the overskirt and how it still made me feel as though I was wearing 2 dresses throughout the night.
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
The best moment was our first dance and doing our vows!! The rest of the day was such a blur, but those two moments were just about the two of us and it was so special.
What were your favourite details?
My favourite details were my flowers, beautiful dry and preserved flowers!
What advice would you tell other brides?
No matter what happens it will be the best day of your life, enjoy yourself!
