How did you meet?

Dating App called Hinge.

When did you know they were the one?

NYE I got a little too drunk at a bar and lost my phone. Jason got me an Uber home and made sure I made it safe and told me we would find my phone the next day. I was mortified the next morning but he stuck to his word and helped me find my phone and treated me to a greasy burger to help with the hangover.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Funny, Honest and Supportive.

Who proposed and how?

Jason! On August 13th, 2021, we planned a trip to CT to see our best friends, Angelo and Torie. Angelo and Jason went golfing for the day while I got to catch up with Torie and meet her son Callen for the very first time. Little did I know while Torie took me and Callen out for lunch, Jason and Angelo were rushing back to the house to set up for the big surprise. When we got back to their house, Torie told me to go outside where Jason was waiting. He got down on one knee and said, “Hey babe, will you marry me?” Torie snapped a bunch of photos while Angelo got it all on video. We then celebrated with our family and friends in CT & Boston. It was the best day ever!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Lovely Bride DC! I tried on a bunch of Made With Loves dresses but once I put Ryder on, I knew it was the one!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Our first look! I couldn’t stop smiling when I showed him my dress. My exact words “doesn’t my butt look amazing!” Also, reading our vows privately made me fall even more in love with Jason.

What were your favourite details?

The dress of course. The flowers, the invites and the big arched windows at our venue.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Don’t stress about your wedding being perfect. The day of all you are going to care about is marrying the love of your life and getting to celebrate with all your favorite people in one room. Enjoy every moment of your big day.

Any standout vendors?

Photographer (La Vie En Rose) & Videographer (kkinscreative) – Killed it. Captured our wedding so perfect.
Florist (JMorris) took my vision and created the most gorgeous display of flowers.
Desserts (Signature Sweets by Amanda) made the best desserts! She even incorporated our morkie pup eating the cake!
