How did you meet?

We met at a party when I was visiting my home
time for my best friends admission to the bar. I returned to where I was living and we messaged for a while and then it fizzled out. Then a few months later I had a dream about Tom so messaged again and he flew up to see me.

When did you know they were the one?

Pretty early on, we did long distance for 9 months and he was so patient, thoughtful and romantic.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?-

He’s thoughtful, patient and generous. He’s also handsome reliable and strong- sorry that’s more than 3 🙂

Who proposed and how?

He proposed to me in Portofino Italy, on top of a Hill with the best view of the town. He was meant to propose the day before but we took a wrong turn on a hike which resulted in a much scarier walk and a few tears from me so he saved it for the next night.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Your london boutique. I was lucky to get an appointment in April 2021 just after lockdown and Tove was kind enough to let me bring 2 friends as I was so far from home. My gown was elegant and timeless and showcased the parts of my body I like the most.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The ceremony and speeches, it was so special to hear all the wonderful things people thought/said to us. The traditional Samoan dance my family surprised me with that made my Nana cry with happiness. The morning with my bridesmaids and mum.

What were your favourite details?

My dress and veil, fragrance, shoes my husbands suit, flowers, clear marquee and furniture.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Enjoy every moment if you can, it is the best day ever! Have fun with it, it’s so special. Take lots of photos even on phones etc as it goes so so fast and you can relive it all the next day
