How did you meet?

At university almost 8 years ago now! We met through mutual friends.

When did you know they were the one?

For Emma – when it was obvious he fit in so well with my family and friends, and when he became the best dad dog to our cockapoo!
For Will – when Emma poured a drink over my friend, I knew it was meant to be.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

For Emma – his generosity to his friends and family, his ambition and his loyalty.
For Will – her kindness, patience and eyes.

Who proposed and how?

Will proposed at Chewton Glen Spa in the most beautiful tree top lodge after booking me in at the spa and an insane meal at their restaurant. It was perfect.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

At Ava Louise Bridal in Southampton. I had already seen Elsie on Instagram as soon as MWL released it as their latest design and just knew it was the one before trying it. Fun fact – we’ve always spoke about how we’d love to name a future daughter Elsie!

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

It would be impossible to pick just one moment! I loved getting ready with my girls, of course my dress, the decoration, the emotion, but most of all, gathering all the people we love the most in one room. Our guests travelled far and wide to spend our day with us and that is the most amazing part of the day.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Enjoy every single second! Take a minute at each part of the day to sit back and enjoy yourself and see your guests enjoying themselves. And make sure to spend time with each other!

Our photographer was amazing! She made us feel so comfortable and at ease. The staff at our venue couldn’t have been more helpful and professional, and our stylist and florists totally understood the assignment. It was magical!
