How did you meet?

We met when we were 14 and 18 when both of families took a trip to Greece. Our dad’s began talking on the streets of Corfu and we travelled around to the beautiful Greek islands together with our families. After visiting each others families for a few years following the trip, we began dating and the rest is history!

When did you know they were the one?

I knew that Brad was the one when I was visiting him in Canada and had to go to Urgent Care. I was embarrassed and asked him to just drop me off. He insisted that he come in with me. Once my exam was over and I came back out to the waiting area expecting him to be sitting on his phone, I found he was chatting with the older receptionist. She gave me a smile and said “you’ve got a keeper.” The support and love I felt grew even deeper than I even know existed.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

My three favourite attributes would be his support, humour and openness.

Who proposed and how?

Brad proposed on the white, sandy beach in Florida. We had been spending the day playing around in the pool and took a moment to sit on the boardwalk and enjoy the warm breeze and the beautiful day. Brad went back into the house to grab another drink and came back outside and surprised me with a proposal.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I had been browsing Instagram for dress styles and had always been in love with Made with Love designs. Once the Rosey was released, I knew she was my dress before I even tried her on. I went to Novelle Bridal Shop in Edmonton, Alberta and it was my first (and should have been my last!) dress that I tried on. After trying on a few additional dresses, I knew that the Rosey was the dress for me. I bought her that day!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The best moment at our wedding was seeing all of our favourite people be in one spot. We had a destination wedding and having all of our closest people from every part of our lives come together was truly magical!

What were your favourite details?

My favourite details of my dress was the fabric pattern. I loved the little dots and they reminded me of coffee beans which was fitting because my husband and I have really bonded over coffee. I also loved the low back and how it hugged my body in all the perfect ways!

What advice would you tell other brides?

Everything will all turn out. No matter what is stressing you out, you will forget about it all when you’re surrounded by all of your loved ones!

Any standout vendors?

Our day-of coordinator Joey Greene was the glue that held everything together. Between the prep for the wedding to the actual set up and logistics of the day, Joey was the best thing that could have happened to us!
