How did you meet?

We met on Tinder. We lived a few roads down from each other but never crossed paths. I finally lowered my age range on tinder as I had gone through all then men in my age range!! And as soon as I lowered it Dan came up. We matched and chatted for a few weeks before we met up.

When did you know they were the one?

He was intimidated by me, and always thought I was way too good and pretty for him. He always went above and beyond for everything to please me. He would always drop flowers at my door on a random day/time when we both worked from home. He did super small sweet stuff. I knew he was the one when I went to Dominican Republic with my family 2 months in from dating and I missed him like crazy. He was the first boyfriend I completely trusted and never once doubted his intentions. That for me, meant he was the one.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His kindness, always puts others first before himself. His humour, he will always make you laugh whatever the situation, mid argument sometimes!! His love of life, he doesn’t take life seriously, he lives in the moment and will always want to do things as you never know what tomorrow brings

Who proposed and how?

He proposed in December 2020. Hotels had slowly re-opened from the pandemic. So we went down to New Forest. Had a beautiful day amongst the wild horses. He had booked a beautiful hotel, we went for dinner and thanks and proposed back in the room with Champagne and a beautiful ring!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

First dress I tried as it was my top one from looking at MWL Instagram! I tried 3-4 others but always came back to this one – Louie. I loved the way it just hugged your figure and made everything stand out. The low front and back cut is just stunning. And the fact that there was a matching veil made it all the more special

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The vows. We did our own vows and at that time it felt like it was just Dan and I. Both of our vows came from the heart, were funny but also serious at the same time. It was just perfect.

What were your favourite details?

For me the venue was just out there the best detail of the wedding. It was just beautiful! On our wedding day my partner offered me a Van Cleef and Arpels bracelet, which matched my outfit perfectly. It was emotional opening that the morning of the wedding and walking down the aisle with it on!

What advice would you tell other brides?

Take a moment on the day to sit back somewhere with your husband and watch for 5 minutes your guests enjoying themselves. You have created this moment. And it is so special. And take time to take photos/videos with the professionals, we had enough after a while and just wanted to enjoy ourselves, but once you receive the photos you can see it was all worth it. It makes you re-live every moment, and they are just stunning!
