How did you meet?

Stu and I met at Lancaster University. We were both part of Lancaster University Boat Club

When did you know they were the one?

Straight away.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Confident, strong and caring.

Who proposed and how?

Stuart took me to a lake in Austria in a place called St Gilgan. It was snowing at the time. We climbed up part of a mountain to a viewing deck which looked down over the lake.

He then gave me a letter to read and got down on one knee and proposed. As we are living in Austria right now he wanted to include my family somehow so he brought my family’s tartan and a bottle of special champagne.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I saw it online and I knew instantly I would have to try it on. I scoured the internet for stockists of Made with Love and found Feinstens in Linz. It was love at first sight.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

(Apart from getting married) having all our friends and family together after such a long time.

What were your favourite details?

Of the dress – the fit and the low back. And of course the sparkles!

Of the day – the weather was gorgeous and so were the flowers.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Don’t stress it’s just a really fun day with all your favourite people.
