Carla + David

How did you meet?

We met on Tinder.

When did you know they were the one?

Early on in the relationship. We both knew what we wanted from a relationship, he was great at allowing me to be free and never stopped me from doing what I wanted. We also had similar interests which made life fun and easy going.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He is very creative and thoughtful.
His initiative towards life and work.
Good sense of humour.

Who proposed and how?

David proposed to me. We were driving around for the “right” look out for ages which I thought was kind of strange considering we passed a heap on our drive. He set up a picnic lunch and then popped the question on one knee. Very romantic.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I always knew MWL was going to be where I bought my dress from. I followed all the socials and actually thought I would choose the Ryder. When I came into the store I tried 4 or so dress’s on and fell instantly in love with Tommy Crepe. It was so beautifully simple and didn’t feel too heavy to wear. (I love dancing and knew I needed something that I could move in easy enough )

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Everything! Literally I would get married again in a heart beat. I just had the best day. But I loved the reception. The food was amazing and I loved listening to everyone’s speeches.

What were your favourite details?

The flowers and the speeches.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Relax, go with the flow and don’t stress too much about the small things. Be bold and daring with your choices.
