How did you meet?

We met at work. What started as a working relationship, blossomed into love.

When did you know they were the one?

Almost immediately after dating.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He’s a deep thinker, quirky and shares my love for beagles.

Who proposed and how?

He did. He put bibs on the dogs that said will you marry me. We were out in the hinterland enjoying wine and cheese. He custom made the ring I had no idea!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I saw it on Insta and immediately fell in love with it. Loved how different it was. Then I found the closest store on the Gold Coast and tried it on and it was so comfy and light and hugged my body perfectly. I was also obsessed with the matching headband and veil so had to get it all!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Saying our own written vows to each other and also dancing the night away in my amazing dress!

What were your favourite details?

Everything! I think I loved the personalised flavour we added to our wedding, including having a friend officiate our ceremony and another sing us down the aisle.

What advice would you tell other brides?

To take a moment on the day and just enjoy it with each other. It’s such a big day and can be somewhat stressful in the lead up. Take a breath, focus on the things that count and try not to fret over the small stuff. Just take it all in and enjoy the moment.
