How did you meet?
Dan and I met at a mutual friends engagement party, we then got together at their wedding, I asked Dan to dance and the rest is history.
When did you know they were the one?
I knew Dan was the one from about a month in, he felt like home, like no matter what happened in the world, so long as he was by my side, we could get through anything.
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?-
He’s grounded, intelligent and compassionate. To have met my soul mate so young and had the opportunity to grow up with them has been incredible. We both make each other better people.
Who proposed and how?
Dan proposed on our 5 year anniversary, we were at daydream island celebrating. We walked down into the underwater observatory (we both love aquariums) while I was admiring the fish he set up a GoPro to film it all, he asked a stranger to take a photo of us and then got down on one knee.
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
I fell in love with Tommy at the Gold Coast boutique. It was only the 2nd dress I tried that day and didn’t want to take it off. It complimented my figure so well and drew attention to all the right places, I’ve never worn a dress and felt like a princess until I tried it on.
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
The best moment of our wedding was our first look of each other, I want to relive that moment a thousand times over.
What were your favourite details?
I originally didn’t want any lace on my dress, however the lace detail on the top of Tommy paired with the crepe skirt was to die for.
What advice would you tell other brides?
Go and try on all different styles, shapes and textures of dresses, don’t say no to anything until you put it on.
