How did you meet?

Tinder! The old swipe right worked out for us and we got married 6 years to the day from our first date.

When did you know they were the one?

It’s hard to pinpoint a specific moment, we just knew we were on to a good thing pretty early on. We started talking and haven’t stopped!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He’s kind, generous and hilarious. His sense of humour and wit have kept things interesting over the years.

Who proposed and how?

We actually decided together we wanted to get married and booked our venue before we even thought about a ring or a proper proposal! He promises to surprise me with a do over one day…

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Bluebelle Bridal in Wellington, New Zealand. I just love Louie flowy! I’d tried on a few options at other shops but loved all the Made with Love dresses and knew I wanted to have one for my big day. Louie was the perfect mix of interesting lace and flattering fit. I felt amazing when I wore my dress.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The whole day was fantastic but probably right after the ceremony when we were spending time with our guests. It was so special having everyone there to celebrate with us.

What were your favourite details?

I love the 3D lace on Louie, and how comfortable the dress was!

What advice would you tell other brides?

Definitely try on a few different silhouettes but trust your instincts and go for what makes you feel beautiful and comfortable. It’s a long day and you want to be able to enjoy every bit of it.

Any standout vendors?

Prefab hall were fantastic as our venue, @timandnadine, our photographers made the whole day so relaxed and we got such wonderful photos! Our glam squad (@antoinetteandlaura) were awesome and our florist @littlelaceflowercompany worked her magic and did the entire wedding with faux flowers which were so good people couldn’t even tell they weren’t real. A great sustainable option!
